Trip to Michael’s
We also went to Michael’s (craft store) today to get some ideas for flower arrangements and other decor. Maria had some great suggestions there too. I had originally planned to make a treasure chest instead of having a money bag. I liked the idea of a treasure chest for the “treasure,” but Maria pointed out that it’s a little pirate-y, which is true. Now that I think about it in that context, it might have looked out of place among all the other decorations. We found a very nice box that we will use instead. We also looked at flowers. One that popped out to me the most, is apparently known as “money tree” but I still have no idea what to do about centerpieces. I can’t seem to get that perfect picture in my head. If I keep looking it will come eventually, right?
